How does a lie detector work?

by admin — Posted on July 12, 2015

The purpose of a lie detector is to define if person taking it is telling the truth or not.

Attached to various sensors, person is asked to answer certain questions.

When doing so, his reactions are being recorded.

Based on data collected during exam, after careful analysis, examiner will come to decision.

When a well-trained examiner uses a polygraph, he or she can detect lying with high accuracy.
